Blogging has given me quite a few surprises since I started. And I am not going to tune in to the great community chorus here, or talk about the many things it taught me. Or the late nights and weird face paintings.
No, I am going to share with you something that I never thought would ever happen.
I got an eMail. And it was written by a cat.
Not just any cat, but a fabulous and tech savvy cat that lives pretty close to me. And that happens to have an eye for design and the corresponding web shop (here)
Short story short, that cat designs and sells printed tees, something that is all the rage in fashion right now. Says Likoli (the cat), and who am I to disagree?
He very kindly offered to send me one which arrived almost overnight (cats seem to be impatient when it comes to posting and delivery) and which I am going to model for you. Please note that the term “model” is used in the widest way possible, basically a synonym for “stand there and look awkward”. But that is not the shirts* fault.
Of course that incident would have made it into my April 2017 Favorites and recap, but, pressed for time, I had already filmed that video.
So please, after watching the video (in HD and on You Tube), scroll down for more details on the tee.

But back to the tee*:
I picked the slogan “I don´t do drugs, I am drugs”, a nod to all the times people assumed I was drunk when I wasn´t, simply because I was having a good time. See, I don´t drink, smoke or do any other drugs. Never have. I just like to party.
“Mom knows best”, here, was a close contender.
My quite fitted tee* is a size Medium for reference, but the website offers measurements for the garments to take out the guess work. All shirts retail for 19,99 €, and while I can´t comment on things like washabilty quite yet, I can assure you I have worn this tee* a lot for this bank holiday weekend and it survived the first few toddler attacks.
So, a tee* and eMail from a cat. What happened on your side of the screen?
