Dressing up and awkward posing included! This months installment is based on Chanels Fall 2015 Collection, featuring a gorgeous brown smokey eye. It is also a collaboration, as Lulle from Beaumiroir kindly agreed to recreate the same look. And who better to pay tribute to Chanel then a French born and raised beauty blogger?

Now I own quite a lot of browns, so that shouldn’t have been a problem. That shadow though… That was hard work.
Again I was surprised by how many color harsh lighting swallows, and I can only imagine how heavy the models ,makeup must have looked in person…
My take on the makeup. |
1. Makeup used on my face
To achieve the radiant finish and the crisp line I used the lightest shades of my MAC Conceal and Correct Palette (Review here) in Light and used MAC Matchmaster foundation in 1.5 (Review here). No powder, although looking back I should probably have used some, as the models skin is more of a velvet finish then a dewy one.

2. Makeup used on my eyes and lips
To intensify the shadows, I primed my lid with MACs Shadestick in “Relaxed” (LE 2009) and put the “Lid” color of the Revlon Eyeshadow Palette in “Impressionist” (Review here) all over the lid and the “Crease” color in the crease, in the inner corner of my eye and underneath the eye.
A thin line of MAC fluid line in “Avenue” on my lash line and a heavy coating of Revlon 3D Photoready Mascara (Review here) on the lashes.
For my lips I chose L´Oréal Color Riche Elixier in “Nude Vibrato”, too peachy to match the models color, but I don’t own this kind of brown nude as they wash me out.
