But short story even shorter, each month I choose a seasonal ad and try to recreate the models look with colors I already own.
Dressing up and awkward posing included!
I really wanted to get started on holiday makeup, mainly because every year I toy with the idea to throw a sophisticated Christmas party for friends and coworkers.
The idea inevitably gets buried with others like “Bake ten different kinds of cookies” and “Have all my shopping ready the week before Christmas the latest.” But should by some miraculous event I happen to host a party this year (or attend a party…) I wanted to be prepared in terms of makeup.
One look standing out to me when scrolling through the new releases was the Dior Precious Rocks Holiday 2017 collection. Red, bold eyeshadow, flawless skin, everything oh so glamorous. A look that will make you the center of attention for sure.
It was actually easier to recreate than I would have thought it´d be, so here we go: My version of the Dior Precious Rocks Holiday 2017 collection.

Yes! Without the lip and probably without Mr. Loca, who refused to see any beauty in this work of art.
But with eyeshadow like that, who needs a plus one anyway?
