After two months of only showing you makeup, I finally have some new skincare to show you. None of which I purchased myself htis time, everything was sent to me via PR and yes, as someone pointed out on Instagram recently, I am lucky to receive these products for free, I know that and I will never take it granted.

In last months lineup you will find Geek and Gorgeous’ newest release, another product from Real Barrier, a brand I hadn’t heard before receiving two other products back in December (More info: New in skincare December 2022) and lastly a package from Stylevana featuring two sunscreens I already tried and loved, some LANEIGE, some haruharu and some TIA’M.

New in from Geek and Gorgeous

Let’s start with Geek and Gorgeous newest release, the Geek and Gorgeous Mighty Melt Cleansing Balm (100 ml for 12,80 €, vegan, full review here), which is, no surprises here, a cleansing balm designed to be used as first cleanse in the evenings. I have already had a go with it, first impressions are that it is very effective at removing makeup and turns into an oil quite quickly when it comes in contact with the warmth of the skin, but I’ll report back once I tested it a little more.

They also included their other cleanser, the Geek and Gorgeous Jelly Joker (150 ml for 9,50 €, vegan, full review here). That was actually the first product I reviewed from the brand, back when I ordered a bunch of their stuff to qualify for free shipping because I felt I needed to try their Vitamin C (that is to this day still my favorite!) and it is a really nice cleanser, but more one that does its job very well rather than one that makes my heart sing. Still a great staple to have in your stash.

New in from Stylevana

Honestly I love getting PR from Stylevana as they carry so many different brands that there is always something new in it for me to discover. And because they alsways send sunscreen, which surely is the way to this girls heart!

Case in point, this months package contained three SPFs, two out of which I already knew: The SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF 50+ (50 ml for 21,95 €, full review here) that I really enjoy due to its lightweight texture and natural finish and the isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel SPF 50 + (50 ml for 21,95 €, full review here) that again is among my favorites due to its lovely texture. The third one, so far unknown to me, is the TOCOBO Bio Watery Sun Cream SPF 50+ (50 ml for 14,99 €, full review here) that I have yet to try, but that from the name does sound promising.

Then there are two products from LANEIGE, the LANEIGE Water Sleeping Mask_EX (70 ml for 16,99 €) and the LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask in Grapefruit (20 g for 13,79 €). I have definitely heard from the latter, these lip sleeping masks have cult status, but haven’t tried many sleeping masks for the face in general. As they are aimed at dehydrated skin and my skin craves a lot of hydration now that we are in the winter to spring transition, I am excited to give it a go.

The haruharu Wonder Black Rice Toner (150 ml for 18 €, full review here) is one that I have heard of, but never tried, the whole brand is so far none that I am familiar with. It contains fermented ingredients and is supposed to be really hydrating, so I am looking forward to giving it a go. (More info: The benefits of fermented ingredients in skincare)

Lastly they added the TIA’M My Signature C Source Vitamin C Serum (30 ml for 16,95 €, full review here) containing 20% Vitamin C. I am a huge fan of Vitamin C serums so this one will get cracked open soon, beforee it starts to go off. (More info: Everything you need to know about Vitamin C in skincare)

New In from Real Barrier

Two out of the three products pictured above were already sent to me end of last year, but had remained unopened because I was testing so much other stuff already. Last month I received the Real Barrier Intense Moisture Hyaluronic Cream (50 ml for 29,95 €) that seems to be a new addition to the lineup, and that reminded me of the other products still tucked away, so I pulled them out, reached for the Real Barrier Aqua Soothing Ampoule Sheet Mask (1 mask for 2,95 €) and was deeply impressed with how hydrating it was.

Needless to say the other products were dusted off and made their way into my everyday basket quickly – I will report back!
