M. Asam Resveratrol Premium Ampoule Beauty Treatment – First signs of aging

The first sign of ageing I noticed on my face was a deep nasolabial fold. Now you have to take “deep” with a grain of salt, because I was 22 at that time and the appearance of a line in my face was both alien and absolutely horrifying for me. The fact that I was camping when I looked in the mirror, tired, with dirt on my face and harsh sunlight from above did not make it a pleasant experience either.

Of course I complained about it to my mother the minute I arrived home. I am a big complainer when it comes to beauty, and my mother has always been the person of choice to complain to. She still is, as a matter of fact. Mr. Loca somehow never showed much interest.

My mother told me that this had been the first noticeable line she had as well, and that I shouldn´t worry much, as it would be the last for many years to come. She was right. It is only now that I notice lines on my forehead and around my eyes slowly appearing, which I think is perfectly fine given the fact that I am 38 now.

But the nasolabial area has stayed with me as metaphor of ageing, so any product that promises to tackle it specifically immediately gets my attention. And the M. Asam Resveratrol Premium Ampoule Beauty Treatment * claim to do exactly that.

What M.Asam claims:

Two weeks power treatment for stressed and prematurely aged skin in need of repair. Combats fine lines and crows feet both immediately and long term with the help of para cress extract. Unevenness in the nasolabial area is visibly smoothed. Resveratrol acts as a booster against wrinkles and lines and the fragrance free formulation is calming and soothing for stressed skin.

Facts

Prize and size

One set contains 14 ampoules with 2 ml each and retails for 29,75 € on the website. Even though I covered my face, neck and décolletage quite generously with the product I still had some left to share with my mother.

Texture and smell

The ampoules contain a brownish liquid that feels like a lightweight serum on the skin and smells somewhat earthy.

Application and effects

Once patted onto the skin it leaves a little stickiness behind that stays around for around two minutes, otherwise it absorbs easily. I used it in the evenings mostly, but it did work under makeup as well.

Does it live up to its claims?

Yes.

It is plumping, hydrating and thus combating fine lines. And I feel like my skin looks more relaxed after two weeks of using these ampoules. The one thing that I think is debatable is the claim of being calming and soothing for stressed skin. Yes, it is fragrance free, but it does contain quite a lot of alcohol which can irritate skin. Personally I don´t mind alcohol that much, but I know some people react to it. Oh, and my nasolabial fold? Pretty unimpressed, I dare say.

Would I repurchase?

Yes.

As a treat after my beach holiday, maybe as a pick me up after the next long and cold winter. Or as preparation for a special event coming up. There will be opportunities!

Who do I recommend it to?

Anyone who´s skin need a pick me up.

It is like going for a facial. Necessary? No. But very, very nice.

And if you feel like you need something a little more rich, do check out my review on their Dormacell ampoules here.
