Whats in my travel skincare bag?

If you are a regular reader of Linda.Libra.Loca, you will know about two things:
My slight obsession with skincare and my seven weeks road trip to New Zealand.

Maybe you have already asked yourself how these two are going to work out, and if I am actually dragging four creams, three toners, two cleansers, a diversity of face masks and other stuff around the globe.

Yes, I will add toothbrush and deodorant before I actually leave.

The answer is: No.
Thanks to travel sizes, samples and nights of pondering, I managed to fit everything I need into my toilet bag.

1. Makeup Remover:
Bioderma Sensibio Eau Micellaire, removes everything except waterproof eye makeup (and Benefit´s They´re Real mascara. Nothing except scissors removes that one!) without stinging my eyes.

2. Cleanser:
As much as I love my Balm Cleansers, I decided to take Sunday Rileys Ceramic Slip Cleanser (review here). We are flying into summer, and during this time of the year I benefit from it the most.

3. Toner:
Of course I went for Acid Toners, and yes, I take all three. Clarins Doux Exfoliant (review here) for the mornings, a sample size of Alpha-H Liquid Gold (review here) and my Clearasil Daily Clear Refreshing Pads, as they are perfect to take on the plane (review here).

4. Eye Cream:
A new one I am excited to try: Sunday Riley´s Start Over Active Eye Cream in a (generous) sample size.

5. Serum:
Just one, I´ll skip the serum in the mornings. It can be a bit too much for my skin if it is warm outside and I wear sunscreen. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair II (review here) it is, and I will pick up the big bottle at the airport.

6. Day Cream:
Another (very generous) sample, this time Alpha-H Daily Essential Moisturizer. It has been sitting in my cupboard for months now, so I figured it would be the perfect time to give it a go. Of course, it is risky, because it may give me horrible breakouts, but during summertime moisturizer is a step I can skip if I have to. And if everything fails, I bet you can buy cosmetics in New Zealand, too.

7. Night Cream:
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo +. Yes, this is a spot treatment, not a moisturizer, technically. But I don’t care. I have used it this way for ages, and it works very well for me during the summer months.

8. Extras:
A small pot of my Duac Acne Gel to treat breakouts, and a sample of Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask and Sunday Riley´s Good Genes Treatment.

I know what you are about to ask: No regular face masks?
No. We will be traveling with a Camper van, so I will spend most of my nights sitting outside on my chair, reading or watching the stars (or so I figure). Neither do I plan on walking round with my face covered in a grayish-brown substance outside the comfort of my own home, nor do I like to spend 20 minutes hanging around in a public bathroom to let a facemark do it´s magic. If I really feel the need for thorough cleansing, two uses of Omorovicza will provide me with that.

It´s your turn now:
What would you pack for a seven weeks trip?
Or would you rather never leave home than forego your face masks?
